Wearing Your Custom Aligners
Once you receive your Invisalign aligners, the second stage begins: wearing them according to your orthodontist’s instructions. The aligners are replaced every few weeks to gradually move your teeth into the desired position. During this time, you should visit your orthodontist for regular progress check-ups.
Maintaining the Results
After completing the treatment, the primary goal is to maintain the results achieved. To ensure this, the orthodontist may recommend retention—wearing special retainers at night or for shorter periods during the day to prevent your teeth from shifting back to their original positions.
